Who are we looking for?
- People who care about NDG youth issues

Between the ages of: 15-25 (flexible)

Youth who like to voice their opinions or would like to develop this skill

People who are open-minded and non-judgmental
-
People who like to work in a team
-
Committed to the positive development of the NDG community

People who are excited by the idea of a youth committee
What your role may be in the group!

The role of a Youth Leader is to participate in group discussions
-
Come prepared to think and talk about various issues each meeting
-
Be open to learning more about how to participate in a group
-
Build confidence in oneself to speak out on issues they care about
-
Open to listening to others opinions, even if they are not the same as yours
-
Respect other group members
-
Attend workshops that will assist you in developing the necessary skills to become
an active group member and a positive community leader

If you want to get involved in this group you need to get a form and apply…
NOW! Youth that have applied will participate in a selection day consisting of
various workshops.
10 youth that reflect the diversity of the NDG youth population will be chosen. Anyone can
participate in this group as long as they are between ages of 15-25, it is important to tell us why
this group interests you and how you think you can contribute to the group.
